Highlights:
- The Lions will be led by 6-8 senior Jamal Boykin. Boykin is listed as one of the top players in the country and has signed to play basketball at Duke University next year. He averaged 18.5 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks as a junior.
- Fairfax appeared in the 2000 L.S.I. featuring Craig Smith and Evan Burns. They ended up placing 5th in the tournament that year.
- Fairfax won the California State Championship last year and is looking to repeat this season. They have size and depth and plan to play pressure defense and run an up-tempo offense.
- Fairfax, coached by Harvey Kitani, could have as many as 7 underclassmen end up signing with Division I programs.
