Highlights:
The Panthers return a strong cast of players that earned second place last year in the Central Valley Conference and lost to Grant by 8 pts. In the State Playoffs.
Every player for the Panthers is a multi-sport athlete and they all enjoy competition. Look for Redmond to apply great pressure defensively, run the floor, and look to spread the defense with strong perimeter play.
Redmond will be led by 6-6 sophomore forward Michael Leunen who is the younger brother of current Oregon Duck and former State Player of the Year, Maarty Leunen.
Head Coach Kelly Bokn enters his 14th season at Redmond with a record of 258-116 which includes two seasons at Creswell H.S. Coach Bokn has won 5 league championships, one State Championship (’03) and was Oregon’s Coach of the Year in 2003.
