The Irish, from the tough Southwest Conference, play an up tempo game that focuses on pressure defense and a transition style offense to score.
Team chemistry is this teams biggest asset. Six seniors are returning this year led by all conference players Tyler Reynolds and Ben Higgins. Billy Pinz and Wyatt Davis are other players to watch.
Coach Ron Lampe has been coaching basketball since 1985. He was voted Oregons 3A Coach of the Year twice (2000 and 2004) and coached three 3A Championship teams (1991, 2000, 2004). Coach Lampe started coaching at Sheldon in 2006 and his team placed 3rd in 2007 State Championships.
Sheldon alumni include Blake Poole.
