* This will be Gonzaga College High School’s first appearance in the LSI and they will be led by their senior big man, Kris Jenkins who will play at Villanova next season.

* Coach Steve Turner enters his ninth year at the helm of the Eagles with an overall record of 193-65. He has been named the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference’s Coach of the Year 3 times was the Washington Post’s Coach of the Year in 2008.

* The Lions won the Gonzaga DC Classic tournament a record six years in a row.

* Gonzaga College High School is a Jesuit high school for boys located in Washington, D.C. The school is named in honor of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, an Italian saint from the 16th century and is the oldest boys' high school in the District of Columbia.
