* This will be Archbishop Mitty’s second appearance at the L.S.I. They won the tournament in 2007 when they beat Oregon City in the Championship game.

* Coach Tim Kennedy enters his fifth year as head coach of the Monarchs and has a career coaching record of 102-27. They have captured three straight Section Championships, two consecutive League Championships, two NorCal Championships and two straight Division II State Championships.

* The Monarchs will be led by senior Aaron Gordon who looks to put the finishing touch on one of the most dominant high school basketball careers in California history. He has led the team in scoring, rebounding and blocks in each of the last two seasons. He was named California’s Mr. Basketball and 1st Team All-American by Max Preps. Other returnees include Brandon Abajelo, Connor Peterson and Brandon Farrell.
